B.Sc. Non-Medical (Computer Science):

The B.Sc. Non-Medical (Computer Science) program is a three-year undergraduate degree programme designed for students interested in computer applications and technology within a science-based curriculum. Eligibility: Passed 10+2 (non-medical) examination or its equivalent examination from any Board recognized or established by Central/State Government through a legislation, with at least 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST) in aggregate.

Career Prospects: Graduates can pursue roles such as Data Scientist, Software Developer,  System Analyst Etc. or further studies in M.Sc.(Physics) and M.Sc. (Computer Science) M.Sc. (Mathematics)

Integrated B.Sc.-M.Sc. (Physics)

The institute offers a Five-Year Integrated B.Sc.-M.Sc. (Physics) program for students aspiring to pursue advanced studies in physics. Designed for those passionate about scientific research, this program ensures a seamless transition from undergraduate to postgraduate education. Aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP-2020), the curriculum focuses on the holistic development of students, fostering both academic and research excellence. In accordance with NEP-2020 guidelines, an exit option has been provided to support students who may need to discontinue their studies due to unavoidable circumstances. The following certifications shall be awarded accordingly:

Exit Options: 

• After 1st year: Certificate in Physics (Requires an additional 4 credits through an internship or university-offered course during summer vacation). 
• After 2nd year: Diploma in Physics (Requires an additional 4 credits through an internship or university-offered course during summer vacation).
• After 3rd year: B.Sc. (Physics) 
• After 4th year: B.Sc. (Hons.) Physics or B.Sc. (Hons.) Physics with Research

M.Sc. (Physics) is 2-year post graduate course. It includes various streams of specializations like condensed matter physics, nano-technology, particle physics, Astrophysics, radiation etc. It is mandatory degree to adopt career in research or academics, simultaneously opens up opportunity to work in various other fields.

ELIGIBILITY:

• B.Sc. from university approved by UGC with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects or its equivalent
• At least 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST) in aggregate.
