UNIVERSITY BUSINESS SCHOOL ORGANIZED WORLD SIENCE DAY EVENT ON 10.11.2021. MR. MANDEEP RAJORA, PRODUCER AT FM RADIO BATHINDA WAS INVETED FOR THE JUDGEMENT ON THE EVENT.
Five days Faculty Development Programme was conducted from 05.04.2021 to 09.04.2021 at University Business School (Remote Centre), MRSPTU, Bathinda
ICT based one week Short Term Training Course organized by NITTTR, Chandigarh at University Business School, MRSPTU (10-14 June, 2019)
People Vibe - The HR Club
PeopleVibe is the HR club of University Business School, MRSPTU Bathinda. It was established on 03.06.2019 for MBA and PhD students with an aim to equip them with prevalent HR domain practices in corporate world. The club is committed to persuade the students to expand their knowledge horizons about the organizational dynamics to critically analyze with organization problems, effectively deal with the business environment uncertainties and chip in for the sustainable growth of the company.

MarkFrenzy - The Marketing Club
MarkFrenzy is the marketing club of University Business School, MRSPTU Bathinda. It was established on 03.06.2019 for the MBA and PhD students of UBS, MRSPTU. The club aims to enhance the interest and comprehensive understanding of students about various marketing areas like product development, branding, promotion, digital and social media marketing etc. It provides the platform to the students to showcase their creativity and skill sets to decode real life business challenges faced by the corporate.

Global Mudra – The Finance and Investment Club
Global Mudra is the Finance and Investment club of University Business School, MRSPTU Bathinda. It was established on 03.06.2019 for the MBA and PhD students of UBS, MRSPTU to boost their skill set and knowledge in various finance areas like global finance, investment banking, stock trading, valuation, mergers and aquisitions etc.. The main aim of club is to serve as a bridge between the global business world and the student. The periodic activites like weekly financial news review, preparing financial reports etc. impart necessary knowledge to students about the global financial world beyond the scope of academic books.
Activities
Some of the major club activities are listed below:
MBA Students had participated in a Inter-college Paper Presentation competition on the topic of “Indian Economy on Its Growth” held at DAV College, Malout on 21st March, 2016. MBA- 4th Semester Students Shaivya Mangal bagged 2ndposition, Amneet Sandhu and Ritu Kakkar prevailed 3rd position.
MBA students visited Guru Gobind Singh thermal power plant, Lehra- Mohabbat, Bathinda on 10th March 2016 along with faculty members to gain industry experience.
MBA Students had participated in a cultural fest MANTHAN’16 held at SSD Women’s Institute of Technology , Bathinda on 17th and 18th March,2016. MBA- 4th Semester Students Amit, Shaivya,Mehtaabveer,Harpreet and Navdeep bagged 1st position in the event CORPORATE FASHION SHOW. Anmol and Sakshi students of MBA 2ndSemester won 1st prize in RANGOLI. Shaivya and Amneet,students of 4th semester have also won 2ndprize with a cash prize of Rs. 500 in DEBATE. The topic of their debate was“Useless Expenditure: Thumbs Up and Thumbs Down”. Amneet and Ankita,students of MBA 4th-Semester bagged 3rd prize in HAIR STYLING event.
Department of Humanities & Management Studies organized TEQIP-II sponsored two days National Conference on "Current Issues and Opportunities in Emerging Global Business Scenario" on 7th-8th April 2016
Guest lecture by Prof. P.K. Jain on the topic of " Youth Entrepreneurship & Skill Development" on 13 September 2016.
The Department organized 2 Days Work-Shop on “Entrepreneurship Development” on 15-16 September 2016.
MBA 1st Year Student Parminder won 2nd position in National Level Paper Reading Contest -2016 on the theme of "Indian Economy Vision -2020" at DAV, Malout on 21-11-2016.
