Physics is one of the basic scientific discipline that helps us to understand and organize the universe. The department of Physics has been established with the sole aim of providing fundamental and advanced knowledge as well as to encourage students to pursue interdisciplinary research. Department has highly experienced, qualified, skilled and motivated faculty members who are always eager to disseminate theoretical as well as experimental knowledge amongst the students. The department has state of the art building, well equipped research labs, PG & UG labs and ICT based class room/ seminar hall. The major emphasis is always on following best teaching and learning practices in the department. The students are exposed to curricular and extracurricular activities so as to sharpen their overall skills and refine their personality making them a better trained human being to face the challenges in real life ahead.
