GZS School of Architecture and Planning Students Win Prestigious VIJAY Award 2026…. Bathinda, June 22: Ms. Priya Talwar and Ms. Komal Rani of the 2021 Batch of the GZS School of Architecture and Planning, Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU), Bathinda, have been honoured with the prestigious VIJAY Award 2026, a national-level accolade instituted by the Indic Art & Heritage Foundation, New Delhi. The award was conferred during a grand felicitation ceremony held on June 20, 2026, at the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre, Dwarka, New Delhi. The awardees received a cash prize of ₹50,000, along with a trophy and certificates in recognition of their outstanding achievement and contribution. They were selected through a rigorous national-level evaluation process conducted by an eminent jury panel that assessed entries from across the country. The VIJAY Award recognizes excellence in creativity, innovation, dedication, and academic accomplishment. The award-winning project was guided by Ar. Kapil Arora, Faculty In-charge. The principal student contributors to the project were Anmol Jaswal, Priya Talwar, and Komal Rani, all from the 2021 Batch of B.Arch. Supporting contributors included Ananya, a 2023 Batch B.Arch. student, who assisted with data collection, and Harshit Mangla of the 2021 Batch, who provided travel and field support. Congratulating the students on their remarkable achievement, Dr. Ripu Daman Singh, Head of the GZS School of Architecture and Planning, stated that the honour reflects the institution's commitment to academic excellence and showcases the creative and professional capabilities of its students at the national level. Prof. Sanjeev Kumar Sharma, Vice Chancellor, MRSPTU, also extended his congratulations to the awardees and faculty members for bringing laurels to the University. He emphasized that such achievements reinforce the University's commitment to nurturing innovation, talent, and professional excellence among its students. The entire MRSPTU fraternity extended its heartfelt congratulations to the award winners, faculty mentor, and all contributors, wishing them continued success in their future academic and professional endeavours.
