This accolade underscores Dr. Jindal's outstanding contributions to computer science and brings great honor to both him and MRSPTU. The IETE-Biman Behari Sen Memorial Award, conferred by the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE), is one of India's premier recognitions in the fields of electronics, telecommunications, and IT. Dr. Jindal has made significant strides in academia with a Master's and Ph.D. from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala. His prolific scholarly output includes 6 books, 5 patents, and over 150 research articles, which have attracted more than 7000 citations and earned him an h-index of 43 on Google Scholar.
