(i) B. Sc (Hons.) Mathematics

PO1:

Develop mathematical ideas from basic axioms.

PO2:

Inculcate effectively written, computational and graphical mathematical skills.

Analyse the hypothesis, theories, techniques and proofs provisionally.

PO4:

Understand the fundamental concepts of pure and applied mathematics.

Utilize mathematical techniques to solve daily life problems by critical understanding and analysis.

Programme Specific Outcomes (PSO’s)

(i) B. Sc (Hons.) Mathematics

1.Students will be able to understand the concepts different topics/branches of Mathematics which is useful for the study of higher relevant mathematical problems.

2.Students will be able to use mathematical concepts to apply and solve the basic problems of engineering and sciences.

3.Students will be able to use latest mathematical techniques/methods and software/languages which enable them to formulate computer codes and solve mathematical problems.

(ii) M. Sc Mathematics

1.Understand the basic concepts of pure and applied mathematics.

2.Analyze and Solve problems of Engineering and Sciences using techniques of Mathematics.

3.Apply Mathematical skills in the field of research and development.
