Greetings to all associated with R&D activities of MRS-PTU Bathinda! I am happy to share that MRS-PTU Bathinda is committed towards its pursuit/quest for excellence in creating a nursery of young genuine researchers throughout Punjab vis-a-vis India, as envisaged in university 'Honor-code' too. I'm sure that the scholars associated with the university shall work to their full potential to bring their name at the global level through quality output publications with good citation count, patents, new theories, novel & innovative concepts leading to breakthrough in technology etc with university affiliation.

Keeping in view the University's mission of imparting quality higher education and make it available to large segments of population, especially to those living in remote and rural areas, working people, and women etc., the University proposes to set up UGC approved Research & Development in the State of Punjab. In the first phase, courses related to Information Technology, Computer Applications, Business management, and Commerce are proposed to be started. It is hoped that students in large numbers shall get benefitted from this initiative of the University. It is assured that the all possible efforts shall be made to deliver qualitative education so as to enable the students to cherish their goals in life. The University would be open to any kind of suggestions, which would benefit all stakeholders of distance education in a positive manner.
